Not for playing cards!!!
Wonderfully carved, but i purchased this item specifically to hold playing cards like it says it does. The box does not close all the way with cards inside the box and the lid has to go on a certain way or it sticks and is almost impossible to open without having to beat it open. Very upset with this purchase as it was a gift for a bday present. It needed about 1/8 inch more hollowed out of the inside of the lid so playing cards can fit.

Quality from days gone by
beautifully carved, substantial box-excellent quality. I enjoy looking at it on my shelf, and have gotten compliments from everyone who's seen it. Everybody wants to pick it up and feel it, it's so well-done.

Not worth even this low price.
Poor assembly. The glue joints do not line up and one joint was actually a gaping crack. The lid does not line up with the box body and sits askew. Not something I would give as a gift or want displayed in my office or house. Back it goes.

Ok product
Not as great as seen in picture. Though I understand it's handcrafted, I will live with it.. but I have seen better finishing in handicraft than this. Cant consider this as an elegant gift.
