Worth every penny. These are absolutely the nicest brushes I have used. I am slowly donating my cheapy brushes to the local art center and getting Escoda as I can afford. They make a huge difference in my watercolors.

I am so happy with this purchase. As an intermediate beginner, I’ve purchased many brushes trying to find something that I really like. Finally, I have found my “go-to” rounds. I have come to really appreciate the greater amount of paint or water these hold. Now, painting seems to flow more easily since I’m not fighting with poorly loaded brushes. It is also wonderful having a consistently sharp point on the brush which allows me to apply broad strokes and finer detail without switching brushes. I am really looking forward to trying some plein air as well with this wonderfully designed travel set. Glad I listened to the recommendation of a local artist that I admire and purchased a brush set like his. Yes, these brushes cost a bit more than my previous brushes, but they are so worth it. I must have wasted more than the cost of this set experimenting with cheaper ones. Don’t make the same mistake.

Brush strokes are smooth and shape stays

Perfect travel brushes. These synthetic kolinsky brushes are amazing! The set is perfect for virtually any piece you might be working on and are an absolute must for plein air. The handles fit exquisitely onto the brush body and are very comfortable in the hand. The brush fibers are responsive and maintain an excellent point. They hold a lot of paint and clean easily. They are worth the price and I will be buying a second set just for acrylics.They were packaged nicely so if you are looking at giving a set as a gift you will be very happy. If you are looking for yourself buy these brushes.

Was super nervous to buy these because I'm not the best artist but they are honestly amazing and such an improvement from my old brushes. They come back to shape really nicely and have made my art look so much nicer. Definitely the most expensive brushes I have but it's great when you just wanna go and paint somewhere without weighting you down.

Wowza! Great water color brushes. I can certainly feel the difference when I paint with them. I'm glad I got this set as it's everything I need and more. I did a lot of research and was torn between Synthetic and real Kolinsky. Certainly won't leave home without them.

While they are not sables, they will be excellent for travel and carrying a decent set of brushes for en plein air situations. I love the ease of carrying them and keeping them protected in the cases that convert to holders for the short brushes.
