Did nothing to help the acne but is an ok moisturizer

My skin feels amazing after using this lotion.

The ProactivMC Ultra-Hydrating Moisturizer is lightweight, creamy, and provides hydration. This has good spreadability and dries to a semi-matte finish. Doesn't cause irritation, flares, or new breakouts. Doesn't leave me feeling sticky, weighed down, or tacky.But I don't think this is worth paying $48 for 3oz of average cream, scented no less, which is completely unnecessary. I get we're paying more for the brand here, but this is a hint much, in my opinion, given this is just a moisturizer. There are far better or equally as good moisturizers without fragrance for less (and you get more product in the bottle). But you do you. I did like the use of this and will use up what I have, but I likely won't get it again, only because it is needlessly expensive. The scent isn't overpowering or unpleasant. The lotion just doesn't need it to enhance the experience. And added fragrances can have the potential to trigger irritation in some sensitive users. Still, it didn't give me any issues. Can be used AM and PM, daily, and pairs well with other skincare.

I've long heard about Proactive products, though I've never really had the opportunity to try them.Now that I've tried them? I see what all the fuss is about.This is the Proactiv MD Ultra-Hydrating Moisturizer. It comes in an attractive 3-fluid ounce tube that is green and white and nicely packaged. Ingredients include a skin brightening complex with Kojic acid, licorice extract, bearberry and Sophora root in addition to Bisabolol, derived from chamomile, a prebiotic, green tea extract, and hyaluronic acid.This moisturizer is easy to use and smooths into the skin quite nicely. There's an ever so slight scent that lingers but doesn't ever overwhelm. It's incredibly light.This moisturizer is designed to be used by people with all skin types. My skin tends to be sensitive and I haven't had any issues with redness or rashes. The moisturizer is doing exactly what it's supposed to do by giving my skin a break-out free, moisturized look and feeling.Like most Proactiv products, and really all skincare products, this is designed to be used with an actual skincare regimen. Proactiv definitely has a line of products and a little bit of fact-finding to determine the appropriate ones for individual use is appropriate but perhaps not necessary.There's a reason that Proactiv has changed the game with skincare products over the years. They've been around because they're good at what they do and they consistently deliver high quality products. This moisturizer is no exception. I definitely recommend.

I used it once and it caused my chin to break out in painful little white heads. I get this same reaction with drug store products so I was not expecting to have it with a product that is almost $50. It's a shame because my cheeks and forehead felt soft and moisturized. I didn't do anything different is my skin routine so I know it was this lotion that caused it. I won't be using again because of the break out and it took almost 5 days to completely heal up. I used Proactive 15 years ago when I was a teen and I had great results, but since my last pregnancy, my skin can't handle certain things.I'm sure it could be great for others though so I don't want to say it's a terrible product, it's just not for me.
