There is no mistake that these are plastic .... light weight. There is a lot of them, which is good if you are trying to use for a lot of things. There is a mock-Roman emperor on both sides, and they are gold in color. They are what I expected. I will be ordering several additional sets as I need more coins. Good amount of coins for the price.
