The cherry infused cranberries are delicious. The blueberry flavored ones not so much. The only bad thing from Amazon is I had to buy a case of each to try.

Seemingly OLD product sold as fresh
After buying Ocean Spray Craisins, Cherry Flavor, and finding them delicious, fresh tasting and full over cherry flavor, I purchased a case of 12 packages from Amazon. Instead of the above, these packages are nearly at their Best Before Date, 4 months prior and nearly tasteless. There is raising taste, but no appreciable cherry flavor. Speaking with Ocean Spray I learned their products are distributed with at least 1 year of shelf life, not4 months. They say purchasing from retail stores usually produces fresh delicious product which customers expect.

Love these
Who doesn't love Ocean Spray fruits for cooking or just eating? Great product. I use them for cooking mostly. Add color and wholesomeness to the cookies.

great taste for baking but not a healthy choice due to all the added sugar
I love to add these to baking for a sweet addition; for example, I sprinkle some into a white chocolate scone recipe for making them prettier and sweeter and adding a nice texture to bite into; they are excellent for holiday recipes as well for both the flavor and the color. However, I had a friend who looked at these as a healthy snack for her kids as an alternative to raisins and became shocked to find, when they acted as though they'd dug into the Halloween bag after eating them, that they were granulated sugar-laden. Unfortunately, there is a reason the label says "The sweetest way to eat a cranberry". They have as much added sugar as a candy bar to create a small serving of them...Unlike raisins, they don't become sweet on their own when dehydrated as cranberries don't have the natural fruit sugars that grapes do. Therefore, it's great as a sweet treat, but it's not exactly like eating just fruit since you are eating mostly sugar with these. The ingredient list is cranberries, sugar, citric acid (citric acid is a natural additive to retain freshness so I don't mind it), blueberry juice concentrate, and color.Yes, it has blueberry juice concentrate in the cherry flavor. You don't taste it but the concentrate basically means it sounds good to say "blueberry juice" but making it a concentrate translates to you are extracting the sugars...so you wind up with cranberries, added sugar, and more sugar...giving just 1/3 cup of these 26 grams of sugar and 33 carbs.Still...it's all relative. While these are basically like eating chocolate chips in sugar content, everything is fine in moderation and they add beautiful color and texture to many recipes. While packed with sugar, they also squash a sweet tooth with just a few bites because of it and 1/3 cup does still add a serving of fruit to your diet so it's better than many other sweet things you might bite into. Conclusion: Great for baking, does add a serving of fruit to your diet, but also has as much added sugar as candy so know the processing to make them changes the wholesome "cranberry" aspect, but also makes the sweet cherry taste...so it has it's uses.
