Picky senior dog loves it!
I’ve been giving my dogs Bright minds for about 2 years now (dry kibble). My 13 year old dog was starting to show signs of dementia and our vet recommended this brand. It made such a huge difference, it was like I had my young pup back! However he is picky and wasn’t a fan of it so I had to add food toppers to incentivize him to eat it.Recently he had a big spinal surgery and it Was really hard to get him to eat. So I decided to try the wet food version. HE LOVES IT! No more food toppers. He eats it right up! I like the containers in comes in. It’s easy to store any left over food because the lid clicks back on the plastic container. The foil wrapper is petty annoying and it’s impossible to peel off in one piece so you’ll get your hands dirty each time. They are a decent size and looks Like it’s real meat so the quality seems good. I do think they are pretty expensive considering that he needs one every day, it’s like paying more than $4 per meal. They don’t smell bad like other canned dog food but it’s also dog food so it’s not a yummy smell either. All in all, I think it’s a great option for my boy. I hope they make larger packs and make them more affordable because I’d like to continue purchasing.

Vet recommended, great for senior dogs!
I take care of my grandma's dogs (a chihuahua and pomeranian, both are standard size and not toy or teacup) now that she's moved into a memory care facility and we needed a change in diet. Our vet recommended this one and it's been great; the older 16 year old dog had been having a lot of memory problems and sudden increase in accidents on the floor, excess agitation, and his mood and behavior have drastically improved on this food. He has had just two accidents since incorporating it (it definitely is forgetfulness and not incontinence, per our vet) and he's a lot more alert and responsive than he was on his previous diet.As a bonus, the texture (shredded meat and veg in a gooey gravy—I hate it honestly) slows down the chihuahua who has a problem with eating too fast and circling his buddy like an unhinged vulture. Both dogs love the taste and think it's the best food they've ever had, but one of them compulsively licks flat surfaces (I'll let you guess whether it's the chihuahua or the pomeranian) so there's no real accounting for taste here.Worst thing I can say about it is that the foil is nearly impossible to get off in one piece and if you aren't careful it will give you an agonizing papercut-style wound, leaving your grandma's poor old dogs to think you're starving them while you bleed through multiple towels for five minutes. (It's only happened once but yes, I am still bitter.) It's also expensive, but I calculated how much we'd have to buy of their old food to meet the same caloric amount and this is only about $45 more per month. For keeping my grandma's dogs happy and healthy, we agree it's worth the price. Also, anyone hesitating to switch to this food because of diarrhea should know that almost any diet change is likely to alter your dog's stool for a few days! I'm slowly phasing out their old food with this one and both dogs had loose stool for four days upon introduction. It's since improved, so I'd say stick it out for about a week before writing it off.

Our Dog Loves this Tasty and Nutritious Food
Our Australian Sheep Dog loves the Purina Pro Plan food line. The Wet Beef and Brown Rice mixed with a large scoop of the Dry Food for Seniors with Sensitive Skin keeps Jack a happy guy at mealtimes. Best of all is the nutritional value keeping our beloved Jack healthy and his allergies in check. I wouldn’t feed him anything else as this combo provides a tasty, healthy and well balanced diet.

Expensive
My 11 year old boxer was starting to experience mental decline, being awake at night, nighttime anxiety. We and the vet thought early dementia or sundowners. After 3 months we tried this food and on the second bag we noticed her burping a lot. Started giving her famotidine twice a day and all symptoms went away. Turns out she developed acid reflux from a round of carprofen in May.Long story short, the dog food was fine, very expensive but if your dog is showing signs of dementia or mental decline see if they have acid reflux first.

Great quality wet dog food
My dog has health issues so I'm very careful on what I feed him. The Purina One Pro Plan delivers everything my dog needs in his diet. I trust this brand, and have not had any issues with it or my dog tolerating it. Buddy is a 24lb dog, I split this tub in half so he gets two days out of one tub. He loves this food! I'm happy it has the grains he needs in it, so he isn't lacking nutrition. My only issue is it's expensive and I'm not rich, but my dog is worth it to me.

Just What We Needed!
After losing his brother our Dachshund didn't need the prescription dog food his brother had to have, and my vet recommended Bright Minds Dry Food. Now two years later it was taking him most of the morning to eat his food. At 15 1/2 it could be a number of little reasons but I suspected his teeth as he is very healthy. I found that they make a wet variety so we tried it before a trip to the vet. He loves it! I mix two tablespoons with just under a 1/4 cup of the dry food. We are back on track!

I've noticed a difference.
My senior dog who is sundowning is more alert overall but not as anxious while on this food. I switched to a different food for a couple months and she went back to her typical dementia behaviors. Back on this food and shes better again. I really think it's doing something.

A happy pup
During the pandemic we couldn’t get our regular food (Purina sensitive skin and stomach) so had gotten this as a last ditch effort to keep our 10 year old Aussie fed. I was worried about his stomach with the switch, but he’s never been better. No stomach upsets, and he suddenly has way more energy. He always seemed to move fine and without complaint, but he’s now WOUND UP again and loving life. We’ve had to start going for daily bicycle rides to take the edge off because he’s feeling better than ever. While a bit expensive, we will never have a different senior feed because it made a world of difference. He’s a puppy again but without the chewing!
