This is a nice set of brass pin drivers that won't break the bank. Don't expect to use a steel hammer to pound on these and not have them deform as that is not their purpose -- that's what a set of hardened steel punches are for. These are for hand driving / light tapping on pins. They seem pretty well made / durable, but I haven't had them long enough to really assess that fully.

I bought this set to do gun work like driving out rolled or knurled pins on guns or fishing reels without damaging the equipment. This brass set of punches is not designed for rough mechanical or shop work with a large hammer. So far they have been up to the task. Nice punches. Thanks and Regards.

Nice brass punches at a good price. The machining quality wasn't the best on several in the set I received, but it doesn't affect their function. I realize these are punches, and the price isn't premium, but I expect better from Mitutoyo; like I do from Starrett. Good durability if you remember these aren't tool steel- no one can make indestructible small diameter punches, especially in brass. No COO listed anywhere so I always assume China when nothing is declared. Overall good quality for the $.

Great brass punch set. Works well for clearing holes, setting pins, and any situation where soft brass is needed to prevent marring.

Set that covers the basics. Nice Velcro pouch with easy to see markings for sizes.

What a disappointment. Very poor quality metal. Small punch bent almost 90 degrees after the third tap with a small jewelers hammer. Really?!??!!! THIS from Mitutoyo?? Pathetic. Tried to straighten it and the end just fell off. I have 6 year old set of Starrett brass punches that I use for the same things and have never had an issue. Mitutoyo has lost my business.

These are not as good as the named brands but do not have the price tag brand names carry. They are great quality for the price. I believe these are better than any budget punch sets out there. This is about the best you can get at this price. Really good value. I would recommend to anyone.
