A DVD at last!
I suspect that I have given 5 stars because of the nostalgia effect of finally being able to get this on DVD. I taped it years ago off the TV but of course can no longer play it as no working VHS player, but I have always have fond memories of this film. On watching it again, I was struck by how drippy the Lindsay Wagner character is, and the very obvious plot holes, but it was still a lovely way to pass a couple of hours. Try to ignore the constant repetitive background music, and lose yourself in a time travelling love story. It is an expensive DVD, considering the age of the film, but that is probably because this subject is a bit of a niche market and not many have been produced. I'm not disappointed that I purchased it though, and I'm pleased that I've finally got it on my DVD shelf.

The Two Worlds of Jennie Logan. 1979
What a great little film. bit of time travel, an excellent storyline romance, and happy ending. aahhh!!!Although unrated, I would put 15 as adult arguing in film could impact children any younger?I had seen this film on television (I think) many years ago, and was refreshing to watch it again.Lindsey Wagner looked well suited for her role, and can't think of anyone else to take the part.My DVD disc was in NTSC region 1 (american format) it has no extra's menu, including no subtitles being available, (just the bare film), and have since transferred into region 2 for convenience. It seemed the film had been transferred from a VHS tape recording and placed onto a DVD disc, due to DVD quality finish amongst other things, that were missing.Highly recommend to view it and make your own mind up what you think of it.

Great picture quality
Quality of the picture is great. Sounds very clear. This is one of our favourite movies and we have been waiting for several years for it to be available in the UK. When I spoke to Lyndsey about it, she didn't know if there would be a UK release.

The dress...
I absolutely love this film. I used to watch it as a child and the idea always stayed with me. To be able to time travel simply by putting on an old vintage dress. Obviously it's a bit dated now and the female character is a bit of a flake, but it's still a good story and easy to watch.
