My husband just discovered this product on Amazon and ordered to try. (I had been asking him to try to fix my mechanical pencils, I have different kinds & none work well for me). He very nicely ordered the Windspeed Everlasting Pencils. He handed it to me and said, "You are going to love this". It appeared to be a pen. He took the lid off & wrote on paper. I was excited when I discovered it was a pencil, (you would've thought he gave me a diamond, lol). I really like the way the led was designed to come out, I can't even see It. and it's sharp every time I use it. It comes in a 3 pack, (red, white & blue, which I Iove).My only complaint would be to make the eraser accessible without having to unscrew the pencil to use it. (I find it easier and faster to just use my pink eraser when needed.Good-bye pencil sharpeners and all other mechanical pencils.

I liked the pencil. It isn’t graphite and doesn’t work like a graphite pencil. The eraser is most inconvenient, but I have an eraser stick so that isn’t an issue for me. Looks a great deal like a Lamy pen.My wife and daughter use theirs as traditional pencils, I use mine as a marking tool while reading my Bible. It works great on the very thin paper. Not much for fine tip writing, but over all, a great little pencil.

Reusable

More drag than graphite mechanical pencil; pencil barrel feels awkward in comparison. Color is very light.

The pencil writes like I sharpened a stick. It is gritty and the eraser falls apart. The casing is made of cheap plastic and it is bulky and hard to hold. There is nothing aesthetically pleasing about this product and the quality is poor. Save your money. Do not buy this item.

I bought it for my child to use in school. No more sharpening or breaking lead on mechanical pencils. It does write lighter than normal pencil, but it is still legible. It is also great for sketching, because the line is lighter in color it is easier to erase a mistake. The eraser set up is not the best design, but it does work. I just use a separate eraser.

I’m surprised to find out after reading all the reviews about it not writing dark enough. It’s just as dark as a number 2 pencil IMO, when writing as I normally do with a standard pencil. I would prefer the eraser to be accessed more easily, but it’s not a problem. The tips will break if you drop it point first on a hard surface like the floor of my warehouse. But it came with more tips than I will probably ever need. I keep one for use at work and one for use around the house. And I have only had to replace one tip (due to dropping pencil and breaking lead). I’m impressed with these pencils.
