Monster X 25.2V ESC, 8A Peak BEC W/1512-2650KV SENSORED Motor

This setup is wild! Running this on a fully custom Slash 4x4 with heavily fortified driveline components. On 4S lipo she's an absolute rocket. The Castle Link software is helpful and all the fields are thoroughly explained as to what their functions are. The sensored throttle control really helps dial in precision cornering, it's made me a better driver in so many aspects. If you're kicking the tires on this, I say go for it. One of the best purchases I've made in a long time. All smiles here.

What is the point of including a sensored motor, when the esc doesn't support it? Product description should make it clear that you need another part (sensor harness, not included, and castle link, not included) to actually use the motor sensors.Didn't matter though. The esc blew up the first time I used it. RMA'd to castle. Now it's been a couple weeks, and they don't respond to emails. No idea if they'll fix it, replace it, or even just send it back to me. Nothing. Spend your money elsewhere, because castle is hell to deal with.

This is a great investment of your looking to go fast . I have this in a traxxas slash 4x4. And the other reviewers are right you will brake parts but I'm only running a 2cell right now so I have not gotten this up to its pike hoping it will "fly"

Bought this for the castle B link features, to tune this via Bluetooth and the app for castle link is really glitchy, throttle curve settings are useless. The motor and esc itself seem to be decent, I used to have a sidewinder 8th years ago and loved it but now with so many other companies offering Bluetooth tuning with mobile devices castle just doesn’t have it down yet. Not to mention the B link is sold separately and usually costs around $60 shipped which is nuts considering their competitors have esc systems with built in Bluetooth. Sorry castle but you guys need to catch up on the software side of things.

Ran this system for 20 to 30 mins. Parked the truck for a couple days waiting for more cosmetic parts. Got everything together. System would not work. Rebind and different batteries and then trouble shooting. Removed sensor wire and got it to work but not very good tried another esc same thing. After forum searching it is said it could be the sensor coming unsoldered in the motor. Messaged castle hoping to get some resolve. Not very happy with the product.

Well powered off just sitting there unran for quite some time randomly exploded the ESC a hole right through the plastic the thing I was home could have started a fire

Awesome motor for my axial yeti! Only bad thing is this combo is great at finding weak parts!!!
