This tool is like an oversized, lightweight writing pen. Once plugged in and started, do not force the process, just gently cut your styrofoam straight and accurately, if following your line and you'll have a perfect cut, mess -free. It is an inexpensive tool that you will be glad to have purchased.

It did as I was hoping…cutting styrofoam without the mess. The knife is a bit flimsy but it could be the impatient user. Overall a good product! Would recommend
