Biggest neck knife for the money! Love it!
I like the mfgr (CRKT) to begin with I've owned several of their products and while I don't like many styles, their quality, fit & finish is always great. I wanted a neck knife that was compact enough to be comfortable to wear under a shirt and still not be noticeable. This is the longest/ largest neck knife in their line. If you want the largest blade in this "small category" this IS IT! Razor sharp, fits the kydex sheath perfectly and the smallish looking grip is amazingly easy to draw and control. They also include a kydex belt loop attachment for horizontal carry on the belt. There in no manual to reference this part, or anything about the knife, at all, in the box.. but if you have no idea what a neck knife is for or how it works, you probably shouldn't buy one. I ALSO bought my lady a normal size minimalist in neon green (gears) it is a very attractive and novel look. I'll try and review that one separately. In short, all the CRKT neck knives are great quality, and worth the price. When selecting one, buy one that's the right size to carry 24/7 if need be, and get one you personally find cool looking; you'll be more likely to carry it and use it.

Sharp and reliable.
The short handle on this knife is my favorite thing about it, the rope on the end gives you leverage to use 1 or 2 fingers on the handle to chop. The compact size is perfect to attach to a backpack front strap for easy access. My dog chewed up the sheathe, I wish I could get a replacement because it's no longer an EDC like I'd love it to be. Razor sharp out the box.

Fantastic little blade!
Had the basic Minimalist, which I really enjoyed. Used it for everything from opening boxes, skinning small game, getting the dirt from under my nails, and picking my teeth. I get much the same use out of this one. Never had to sharpen it. The finger grip is excellent and even though the handle is teeny tiny, it remains one of my favorite blades to hold, especially for skinning. No matter how much viscera you get on it, you can still hold onto it and maintain perfectly detailed control over the blade. The only real problem I've had is figuring out how to get it to clip onto my belt. Other than that, it's damn near perfect.

Nice little knife. Durable and easy to carry.
The CRKT Minimalist knives are pretty solid, and I've used them over the last few years. For the price, these are as good as it gets for a small fixed blade.

Very nice well balanced knife
This knife feels great in your hand even though it's a small handle. It's well balanced and has a great finish to the whole knife. It's not a survival knife but for a nice pocket fixed blade, I think it's great.

I love this knife
I think the kantana is an awesome design of a blade. It looks super cool, holds an edge and does what a knife is supposed to do. It makes an excellent self defense blade that is easily pocketable, or mounted descreetly. There are grip customizations out there that up the cool factor, and make the grip even more comfortable. And for the cheap money for a knife of this quality it is hard to beat.

Not a single complaint except...
Overall a great small fixed blade. Feels good in the hand. Plenty sharp out of the box. Everything is more than good about this compact fixed blade except the sheath. The sheaths detent is too weak for neck carry and the belt clip is scout carry only which isn't so bad if it wasn't the most uncomfortable thing I've ever put in my belt. Kydex loop digs so bad I went looking for aftermarket and there's not much if anything out yet with this model being a 2022 release.Long story short, knife is great but the sheath is awful.
