Expensive But Good
I must be crazy spending 50 bucks for a toilet seat. This is my second one. I broke my first one after 20 years. I closed it too hard and slammed it on the toilet. It cracked and broke. So, I bought another one. It is made with thick rubber like plastic or resin. It is very comfortable and easy to clean. The only problem with this seat is that the bumpers do not seat flat on the toilet Only one bumper from one side touch the toilet. All the weight is being held against the hinges. The thick plastic does flex a little bit. So, it is not a too big of a problem.

Light weight, strong, and durable; shinny and new; comfortable. Cleans easily. Good 'bang' for the buck but not to say it is noisey as it is not - it closes quietly.

It's OK.What's the point of the Self-Sustaining Check Hinge? I thought it's a soft lease system so the toilet will not get slammed. But it's actually a very tight hinge that makes the seat stay in a position until you push it all the way down.

Don't put this on your toilet.
The cheap plastic screws strip immediately and it becomes impossible to tighten or loosen. Do not recommend. I ow have to figure out how to saw this dumb thing off my toilet
