I have a file cabinet at work for my files, but it does not lock and all my co-workers have access to it. I was able to put this storage bag inside the cabinet, so that I have more privacy, a secure place to put things that no one can meddle with, unless they are shady enough to steal the entire bag. It prevents people from being nosy, but if there is a thief, they might steal the whole bag. I'm not concerned about theft right now, so this is perfect for me. And, the combination lock is easy to set up and use, so this is a perfect setup on the cheap. If you just want to keep prying eyes out, and not concerned about a thief, this is for you. I highly doubt this thing will deter a fire, but if it does, that's a great added feature. For $30, you can't beat it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Just started my business last year and was due for something to organized my files. this is compact and perfect and I can take it to marketing events with me without any hassel. Plus its fireproof in the event anything happens, my files can be protected.

Flimsier than expected, but it does what it needs to. Not convinced its as fireproof as the manufacturer claims but hopefully that never needs to be put to the test.

Don’t know about fire or water resistance (hope to never put it to the test)but it works as a lockable crate for me

Durable and lightweight. Waterproof and fireproof is perfect for our important documents and to tuck them away!

I had bought 2 months ago and I like them even though I had to get my own files but it helps me keep my important paperwork that i need to keep and that's why I bought another one and may consider more in the future.

Quality sturdy product. I put all my secure documents in there. It holds many items. Zipper quality is great. There is additional storage on the inside of the lid. The handles make it easy to move.

I have not tested these to see how they do with fire or water, but it is my hope that the contents would be safe. I use one for storing medications and supplements. Another I’m using for important documents and irreplaceable photos and keepsakes. The lock doesn’t seem to be all that strong. But, these aren’t safes. I think the protection of my contents from fire and water are what’s important to me.
