The book written by Dr. Puneet Khanna and Dr. Shashikant Sharma is a boon to students, both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Every system management is given from the basics like normal pathophysiology, anatomy which doesn't leave students fumbled while reading the anesthesia aspect of it. This can be used as a great handbook This book also includes chapters on artificial intelligence and updates on CPR Guidelines 2020 by the American Heart Association. A great book indeed.

Pearl of Anesthesiology
The 48-chapters of the book cover all areas of anesthetic practice. It covers anesthesia’s foundational sciences, such as anatomy, physiology, physics, preoperative examination, and anesthetic monitoring. The book's most appealing aspect is its chapters on concomitant diseases and geriatrics which should be given more attention while choosing an appropriate anesthetic.Artificial intelligence and anesthetic for daycare surgeries are two of the book's most innovative chapters. This book provided a good opportunity to put everything you've learned about anesthesia into practice in both hospital and daycare settings. The book's chapter on anesthesiology ethics, career, and medical errors is another standout element. This book offers everything anesthesia postgraduates need to know. It is one of the best books for postgraduate examinations in the field of anesthesia because it contains all current material, including anesthetic instrumentation and workstations.
