Powershred 11C Crosscut Shredder

I purchased the same shredder a few years ago and it finally gave out on me. I was prepared for this, so I ordered the exact same one this time because I was so happy with the results I got from the first one.This unit is a great value for the price. It never jammed up on me until the end. I think I had it for 4 years and I used it A LOT. I enjoy the shred rate and size of the shredded material. It can shred paper, plastic cards (debit/credit) and CD discs. It's a little bit noisy but I typically have my music turned way up when I shred so it doesn't really bother me. The forward/locked/reverse button is a great feature and easily accessible when needed. The shred unit is a bit heavy but it's easily removed by lifting and setting it aside to dump the bin. Also as a safety feature, if the shred unit is not firmly attached to the waste bin it will not shred anything until it's back in place. The shredder feed is wide enough to take 8.5 inch wide paper and will accept multiple sheets; however, I don't recommend running too much into it at once in order to extend the life of the unit.In all, I'm extremely happy with this shredder and I recommend it.

This Product is not worth the expense and Headache. This was purchased for Light home use and the Motor is about to stop working. It runs very slow and very LOUD. The Seller (My OFFICE INOVATIONS/STAPLES INC) THRU Amazon and the Manufacture, (FELOWES) where NO help at all. I talked to Both.AMAZON sent an email to the seller and suggested a full refund, they did not CONCUR.terrible customer service.

We looked at several shredders to replace the one we had . This one was a good price and has worked as advertised very well. It takes the number of sheets stated and tears through the whole stack, unlike some of the other ones we have had in the past. Ours is just for home shredding, not a business workplace.

This shredder is some what quiet. It does a fine job of shredding paper and the bin size is of good capacity.

This is a great cross cutting shredder.

I shreds well but the mechanism is too heavy with a smooth surface and not handles or places to grip it. My wife does the shredding and she has trouble lifting/moving it to empty the tub. She dropped it onto the tile floor once. It seems to have survived in tact, but she wanted to send it back after this happened but has relented for the time being.We've had this shredder for about 18 months now. About every 4-6 months the cutters jam with shreddings and it quits. It'll run in reverse but not forward. We have to take it apart and use needle-nose pliers to pull the jammed shreddings out. Takes about 30-45 minutes. A real PITA.

Powerful! My first new shredder in about ten years. Have they ever improved for the money! Shreds up to eleven sheets, nice big container. Very pleased with my purchase.

Received a less expensive, shorter warrantied, lower rated Omnitech with a smaller bin capacity than the better known Fellowes brand I ordered. I did not open the inner box but it looked as if it had been opened previously. Seems like a contact would have been in order rather than fulfilling an out of stock item with a lesser product without having any conversation about whether or not that would be acceptable. Returning to sender.
