Q: Can you add food coloring with no problem?

I have had no problems with adding food coloring. Just be sure to calculate the total amount of liquid you're using so the icing doesn't get runny. And I recommend using good quality food coloring. I always keep some of this white royal icing mix on hand for times when I need quick and easy cookie icing. It's wonderful for that.

Q: Can flavoring be added to this or is it already flavored? Does the package include mixing instructions for adding in flavoring oils?

This icing is not flavored, and it can be flavored as you desire. Royal Icing: Mix at medium speed, 1 lb. of mix and 1/3 cup (2.5 oz) of water, beat until icing stands in peaks. Flavor and color as desired. Picture or Flow Icing: Add 2-3 teaspoons of water to each 1/2 cup of Royal Icing prepared as above. Mix by hand. 1#-bag covers approximately 25-30 three inch cookies

Q: Can you store the prepared icing overnight? If so, do you store it at room temperature?

You need to cover with a damp towel. But best way is to cover with plastic wrap where it's pushed down onto the surface of the icing so no air touches it.

Q: Anyone made just plain meringue cookies with this?

No for cookies they have to be from scratch process I wouldn’t recommend this for that
