This is perfect for blending flour with butter or Crisco for biscuits or pie crust because it doesn't get stuck between the tines, unlike a pasty blender. It's also great as a whisk for scrambled eggs, pancake batter, etc. The fork head is 1 & 1/2 inches wide & made of sturdy stainless steel.

One of the most useful kitchen tools I've ever used. Beating eggs, mixing flour and butter/shortening, spreading layers like for lasagna and numerous other uses. I had one years ago and it was borrowed and never returned (I was told it had accidently been burned---HA!) so finding one online was wonderful.

Many decades ago, this fork was produced by a company called Foley, and it has been a huge hit in the kitchen ever since. Some folks call it a Granny Fork. Julia Child mentions it in her shows also. The vintage ones you find on eBay are good, but eventually will start to lose their chrome plating and will rust (I have one).This newer version has a better handle (grippy), and the chrome plating is MUCH better. I bought one of these almost 5 years ago and it is still going strong in my kitchen. It has no issues being cleaned in the dishwasher either. I consider it an essential utensil. The value for the money is there. I’m surprised they haven’t started charging more for it due to popularity.

This did a beautiful job mashing potatoes, getting them light and fluffy without getting gluey. Worked great on avocados, too. My only gripe, and why 4 stars, is that it seems cheaply made, and I don't know how long it will last. The price is low enough to make it worth it, but i wish it seemed more solid.
