Using For A 65 Page Book of 24lb Weight Paper
I use 24lb paper because it's a sturdy weight of paper. It holds up better and feels like a better quality than the so called 'normal' 20lb paper. Plus, I buy my paper at Costco in the 800 sheet package for the same price as most stores sell the 20lb paper of 500 sheets which is a standard ream size. With that being said, I bought 1/2" Pro Click bindings to use on the 65 sheet books I'm making. That size is supposed to handle 85 sheets of 20lb. I thought they would be big enough to hold the 65 sheets of 24lb paper, but they aren't. It's hard to turn the pages and you risk tearing the paper. So I then bought the 5/8" Pro Click bindings which is supposed to hold 110 sheets of 20lb. This is the size that works great, looks great and allows for page turning, and opening up the book flat for my 65 pages of 24lb papers. It would allow for a few more sheets if needed.

Worked nicely.
I made books to go along with our Christmas around the world and these worked perfectly. The students used the books daily and we never had any trouble with them coming apart.

Works great and easy to use
I read a review of this on a music teachers website and decided to give it a go. I am glad I did! I have so much loose music and it was really getting disorganized. Once I received the binder and the coils I put off doing it because i thought it would be complicated and take a lot of time. It was NOT! It is so easy. In 15 minutes i had about 100 pages punched and put together in two binders. I ordered the smaller coils that fit 45 pages. I am going to order the next size up. So pay attention to the size of the coil to fit your needs. I agree that it might be a bit expensive but if it holds up, i think it is a worthwhile investment. I ordered cardstock to make the front and back covers. And yes, the little zipper upper tool was included in the box of coils.

I’ve been using GBC products for years & they are always great quality! Even if you have to open & close them numerous times they still hold up.

Made well
They're okay, they do the job. They took me a second to get used to clicking them together but they break in well. Only 1 broke out of everything that I got and it wasn't the whole spine it was just one piece when I was trying to secure it. It was a little challenging when I was putting in a lot of paper. I had to add then on each side and then try to adjust it so I could close it well. That part was a little tricky but not a crazy con. You just learn how to put it together we'll. Holds the paper in nicely and it's smooth when you turn the pages

I discovered a special treasurer!
I love making booklets for various functions I have attended. Ten years ago I made directories with lots of clip art for my class reunion. They were a little too thick to just staple. Plus I put so much work into the booklet, I wanted a professional finishing touch to hold it together. So I printed & collated 100 booklets, took them to a local pint shop to have the spiral binding added. It cost more than the paper and ink used to print them!! So five years later, when the next reunion rolled around, I bought the special hole punch and these neat little ProClick Spines! So much cheaper and still adds a nice professional finishing touch. So this spring I used them again for another class reunion. In the meantime, I have used them for lots of directories and programs for other social functions as well as at work business reports.

Best binding system
Love our proclick and the way these spines work! I wish the larger ones were easier to find as this size seems just a little smaller than is ideal. We just make multiples. Love that they’re reusable and editable. We use that feature all the time, it’s so easy!

Love these
This is my favourite binding system for homeschooling! They work very well and I love that I can reuse them and add or remove pages as needed. I generally print all of our stuff with 24 to 28 lb paper and these work well.
