Good for Mandalorian Helmet props
Bought this to use as a visor for a 3D printed Mandalorian helmet (was impossible to get grinding shields and masks due to COVID shortages at the time)You get a fair amount for your money, I thought it was worth itI did attach it to a disposable COVID face shield for strength though (working with what I had)Not sure how it works for WINDOWS but the helmet view is decent10/10 would recommend for Mandalorian visor prop making if anybody ever sees this comment

Installation advice! Read before install.
Yea, it’s exactly what I was expecting and does a good job. Bought to reduce glare in my south facing home office. I few reviews seems to be from people not installing correctly, giving awful results. Read below. Here is the best method:1. Thoroughly clean the window,2. Fill a spray bottle with very soapy water (ie fairy liquid) and very liberally spray onto window. The more the better.3. Offer up the sheet, having peeled off the backer and cut to size plus 2cm margin. Some prefer to pre cut exactly but that requires you to get it bang on straight later which can be a right pain.4. With sheet on window liberally apply soapy spray again. This lubricates the squeegee.5. Using the squeegee try and get all the air and water out from under the sheet.6. Use a very sharp craft knife to go round the edges using a steel ruler or similar to pin the material in at the edges. If you use a blunt knife, it is likely the material will catch and move slightl.7. A sunny day will evaporate any residue water and improve adhesion. With the correct method this job should be very easy and incredibly satisfying. If it’s not, your not doing something right.

It's okay, but I'm not sure it's worth the money or the effort!
Our bedroom gets the sun all afternoon and evening in summer, making it the hottest room in the house. So I thought I'd try using this reflective film to see if it helped. And after a whole summer of use I can say that it doesn't seem to do much. I guess that there is a degree or two difference--maybe--but going from 34oC to 32oC doesn't really help! There is some privacy from the film too, but only while it's lighter outside than in. The film does take some time to cut perfectly and install too.So overall I'm not convinced that this purchase is a cost-effective option.

Excellent heat prevention
Bought these for an outdoor office after a sunny few days and theyve really cut out a lot of the heat. And even at night with a torch held elsewhere to the glass its hard to see in to through the window, very pleased with the extra security they offer. They were not very easy to do without any bubbles, my first pane was a bit of a mess! But by the final one I was getting good! The instructions were hard to follow it's just a bit tricky to get looking neat.

Order enough unlike me
This area is south-facing. The dogs love to sit on the windowsil and watch the world go by. Except its scorching hot onsome days and they dehydrate quickly. I put up the film but as you can see I did not buy enough. Yet what a difference to the area even though its got a gap. The sun blasts from above so its actually OK. I should have ordered 3 metres and not 2 metres. Keep this in mind when ordering. Very happy now. Easy to install.
