Le Creuset Enamel On Steel Demi Tea Kettle, 1.25 qt., Caribbean

I have been using this kettle daily for 8 months now, and it is an absolute beauty. I am a tea enthusiast and probably drink 6-8 cups a day. This kettle is solid and sturdy, and because I take good care of it, it is holding up magnificently. I'm sure to empty it after every use, and since it's still warm after use it dries in no time, therefore I do not have any rust issues. The whistle is loud and works every time because the lid has a nice snug fit. I love the traditional design, and the gorgeous, shiny enamel matches all my other Caribbean Le Creuset pieces. Excellent investment. I've attached a photo.

I drink lots of coffee and tea, so boiled water is a priority. I've had many kettles with loose lids, faulty spouts and corroding interiors, so I decided to go big and spring for this kettle. First off, it is beautiful. As you use it you begin to appreciate how well designed it is. The wooden handle is very high above the lid. The latch on the whistling spout is also wood, reducing the likelihood of burns. The lid fits very tightly with a small indentation for release of steam. The enamel is smooth inside and out, making it easy to clean. The shape and tight closures contribute to fast boiling. I hope to treat this kettle kindly and have it for many years to come.

Meets all expectations.This lovely kettle works extremely well on my glass top stove. Solid construction, nice whistle, heats quickly, lid and handle firmly installed, handle does not get warm. Whistle flip top easy to use. And it is lovely, to boot! The color is deep at the bottom and lightens toward the top. The inside is black enamel. Glad I spent the extra money since I have been disappointed in the past and I use a kettle 3-5 times a day. This size is suited to 2-3 cups at a time. I will update the review after a time if any of the features lose their rating from use.

My first and only Le Creuset kitchen accessory, I have steered clear since I have had better luck with lower priced items for pans and such. But I wanted a teapot that could be an accent to the kitchen as I keep my teapot on my stove. I narrowed the Carribean Le Creuset and a blue Rachel Ray teapot - I would have gone for the RRay but it seems to be discontinued. The Le Creuset was only a couple dollars more so it did not price itself out this time! It look great, the size is good - not overwhelming but also not tiny. It holds a few cups of water, though the spout line cannot be filled past with water - this makes you keep the water level about 2/3 of the total.Pros:- Looks are by far the best feature of this, it will look good on display, especially in a white kitchen- The Whistle is good - it's not too loud but you'll hear it- Decent size - tall handleCons- The whistle flap will leak condensation- The cool touch handle does not cover the entire handle area, and the metal bar will get ya- Spout likes to sputter water when you first pour

This kettle is perfect and looks great in my kitchen. The whistle sound is a bit odd but it does the job!

This is my 2nd one of these. Purchased first one about 23 years ago and with not much upkeep on my part it worked well right up to the end. Replaced it with this one which is almost exactly like it. Hopefully it will do as well.

I totally love my LeCreuset caribean colored teapot. But of course, it is LeCreuset, isn't it! It is easy to clean, looks beautiful to perk up my kitchen. I have had it for over a year, and it looks as wonderful as the day I bought it! It doesn't accumulate lime or other deposits like stainless steel teakettles. I can see that this will last a very long time if not forever! it is easy care. I was concerned that the smaller kettle would be too small, but it's perfect, and you don't waste time and electricity waiting for the boil. I love the size, the appearance and everything about it!

I purchased this kettle from le creuset 8 years ago and have used it multiple times a day, every day since. It finally started rusting around the rim and spout a month ago so just ordered a replacement of the same exact Caribbean blue. Im excited about the longevity though, one kettle lasting that long daily deserves 5 stars in my opinion…will see if this new one stands the same test of time!
