It begins...
This thing is incredible. I'd been out of the Lego game since the first Star Wars ones came out in the late 90s, other than the video games. Well, that damned Friends set was adorable and called to me so I had to get it. In the process, I thought, "Boy, I hope this doesn't awaken anything dormant in me." Anyways, this set is incredible, like I said. Even the box is beautiful. But building this thing, oh mamacita, it is so fun and therapeutic. Quarantine schmuarantine! Obviously, it's my first modular set and obviously I'm getting more. It's so cute, too! Like, adorable! My wife (I know, I'm married yet also making Legos as a 40 year old man, whodathunk?) even loves it, thinks it's so clever looking and wants more! MWAHAHAHA. And yeah, you want to see more book covers or titles on the spines but eh, there are still plenty of books in the bookshop. The real joy for me was the townhouse. I even loved the mousetrap in the basement! I got it before the scoundrels ordered them up and are now charging out the yingyang on here. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves! So, yeah, highly recommended and heaven help you, you WILL want more.P.S. I think I got that other review's missing pieces.

Another great build
This was a Christmas present for my son who loves Lego. He put together this set within hours as he was excited to play with it. Looks great. I like that you can split this set in 2. My son did this and added each half to other parts of the street he's putting together.

Great fun for the 14 year old
Way overpriced for plastic. Enjoyable, but lego you are pricing yourself out of the ability of older people to enjoy your product.
