Great pencil with some minor tweeks
For the most part I love it. Do have some mixed feelings though.Pros:It works great for those kids out there that can not hold a pencil well- many of the grips just do not work for some kidsI love that it has replaceable lead.It does come with two built in erasers- issue with those twoIt comes in cool colors and kids are not as resistant to using it as with some pencil grips- they like their "rocket" pencil.Cons:The built in erasers on the sides often come off or get picked off rather quickly- not a big deal as the children that use these pencils really need a big individual eraser anyway.Sometimes, the writing is a little lighter than you would like.not cheap- more economical with the multi pack. The BIGGEST con is that I find that I can rarely use the replacement lead, because the pencils break easily(kids are often twisting it at the bottom- the wrong way during use), and then it will not hold the lead when you try to refill. As and OT, I still think these are pretty good - I find that if I put some masking tape around the bottom where you can twist it, it stays In tact to refill it. And yes, they are tempted to pull at the masking tape at first, but quickly ignore it or are not quick enough to get it off to full with the pencil if you are working close by.

So great for arthritic hands
Very happy with these pencils, I keep all of them at work since that is where I do 90% of my writing. Since I have severe Rheumatoid arthritis in every joint throughout my body and I write and type in my job (pharmacy technician) all day long these are an extreme comfort on the days when my thumb and forefinger joints are stiff and sore! Very thankful that I found something that helps me do my job with less pain & for now keeps me in the workforce (I'm not ready to give up even after working for more than 40 yrs with my condition)!! Thank you so much!

Fit for a small hand.
I use this pencil and it's comfortable. It says it's for kids and it would fit their hand better. I don't use a pencil a lot so it's not a bid deal. The lead does not stay sharp like I would like it to. I have the pens like these and they are bigger. I like the pens much better.

Good feel, thick lead
Got this for carpal tunnel. I love the ergonomics of it, but the lead is pretty thick and there's really no way to turn it around. Because of that it looses sharpness pretty easily. I would love to see this made in a 0.5mm lead

Comfortable fit
It makes writing quite a bit easier for me. (I have essential tremor). Writing with a lead pencil is always easier than with a ball point pen.

Ordered it to help my self, but I didn't realize it was a child's size so I gave it to my daughter she hasn't used it to the best of my knowledge

For those who have a hard time holding a pencil
Love this product. Bought it for my 16 yr old daughter who suffers from RND. She had a hard time holding a pen/pencil and this was the perfect solution for her.

What a shame
Such a shame this doesn't work well. The size is perfect for my small and arthritis ridden hands (I found the pens for adults slightly too big for comfort but I can still use them)With this pencil, unfortunately not only is the lead thickness too big to write on standard note paper (OK if a very young child doesn't have to keep between the lines) but the lead keeps falling out!(I got the refillable one)I understand the lead has to be robust so it doesn't snap constantly under pressure (like propelling pencils do to me ALL THE TIME, probably because I'm heavy handed) but not this thick surely! And the lead falling out is bloody annoying, I won't be ordering again.

Enables children to write who struggle with usual pens.
This is brilliant my 9yr old son struggles writing with the usual pens. He used to get upset stressed and pain in his hand. He now writes without upset anxiety or pain. He didn't find it hard to use at all. This pencil is a life saver. Thank you, highly recommended!

You do not need to be able to grip to write as the weight of your hand holds the pencil in place and makes it easy to write with
When opening then package I took one look and thought I'd never be able to write with that, but I'm a changed person!!!Having problems with the grip and function of my right hand I had real problems holding a pen or writing, but with this it's all changed that. You do not need to be able to grip to write as the weight of your hand holds the pencil in place and makes it easy to write with. The only downside I have found is with a poor grip it make twisting the pencil to lower the pencil lead hard to do......... only a minor point though

No instructions included
Happy with this pencil, it is nice to write with, hopefully it will be helpful for my son who's hand aches when writing. I did receive the blue one that I ordered. Would have prefered it to have been in it's original packaging with instructions for when the lead needs replacing rather than trying to figure out how to get it apart.
