Perfect for my dog.
Easy put together, nice and sturdy. My bed is high up so my dog had a hard time jumping up, so i got her this. My dog figured out how to use it right away and now she uses the stairs. Even has storage.

Very Sturdy and Dog Liked Them
If you are looking for cheap and sturdy dog stairs, you probably aren't going to do any better than these. At least as of the times I was shopping for them. They are relatively slim though, was fine for my dog but worried me at first. So I had tried some other stairs that worked fine, but they were pretty flimsy compared to these. They worked, but they were also foldable and the locking mechanism broke... But more importantly they slid around on the linoleum floor so much I had to tie them to the bed. I mean I could have gotten pads for it, but rope was handy.I now have them on tile and THESE stay RIGHT where they are with NO trouble and they feel waaaaay sturdier than the others I had. And my dog seems to like them more. To be fair, he was already trained thanks to the other stairs, but still had an easier time climbing up these than the others. He is a 16lb pug mix and they are also the perfect height for my bed as it is now.Now I admit my 12lb Papillon mix refuses to use them... but she seems to hate dog stairs in general and she can jump up on the bed herself, so doesn't really matter. She didn't need them enough to learn to use them.It did take a bit of training to get the pug to use them, but he can't jump up on the bed, so if he wants up there bad enough, that helps. He was used to me picking him up, so first I quit doing that. Then I sort of held him and slowly walked him up to the top to show him he could climb on them. Sometimes I would leave him halfway up and try to convince him to jump UP and not down. And from then on I just kept patting the bed right above the stairs till he finally decided to give it a try. After several times he got it. He gets to the top then jumps the rest of the way from there. I mean there were a few times I had to pick him up anyway in the beginning if I wanted to get any sleep... but it really didn't take that long. Don't try it for a week and assume the stairs are the problem. It did take longer than that, but a lot of training does. Assuming the stairs appear to be the appropriate size that is.Basically you're probably gonna have to train the pet and not expect them to figure it out on their own. Well maybe if you have stairs in your house for a second floor or basement that the pet goes up and down, I guess. I could see size/length of dog affecting things a bit... My two are same age, but he's more stocky and not good at jumping which is why I needed these.

Stabil
