stress
All of Doc Childre's books have been really really informative and helpful. I've like psychology and have read self-help books for several decades. These books have information I've never seen in any other books. They have helped me understand so much that I could never figure out. They are so helpful that I'm gradually buyinAll his books are based on the information that follows,iIt might help to read MathHeart Solution first--with an open mind. When I read it, I didn't believe it. It sounded like a carnival or snake oil. I did the research, and there is a great deal of support for his work. PBS and Dr. Oz have supported this program. Dr. Oz was using the emWave on one of his programs. He has a simple biofeedback back gadget --emWave--that monitors your breathing, pulse, and blood pressure. There is software, so you can see you heartbeat, just like on an EKG. Our brain works best when that are synchronized. It has color codes to indicate if you are out of sync (we all are) and 2 other colors for improvement and for in sync. It charts your history. There are games and other help available in the program.

Inspriring heart
Very interesting material. It's give s you an additional tool to make the law of attraction work for you and to make you feel good about your self. The techniques are veryeasy learn. But I think it's smartif you really go in to this to follow a two workshop and have the biofeedback equipment from it. This will cost you $500!

A Viable Alternative Solution to Therapy
I was introduced to the Heartmath solution back in 2000. While studying alternative healing methods, a colleague of mine stumbled over this method and attended a weekend retreat teaching the method. After bringing back the information we practiced with each other and found the Heartmath methods more successful for Stress and Anxiety Management than years of therapy. Therapy was only keeping us stuck on the problems and not altering thinking patterns. One has to follow the methods established by the authors and actually do what they suggest on a daily basis: not simply read, thinking the information has been absorbed. Hearthmath is something you do and you practice like meditation. The more you do and practice, the more accustomed the mind and heart becomes trained to exercise the methods allowing one to break through. The method can be transforming.

Excellent & Informative!
This is a must have if you have the Heartmath technology! It explains how to achieve heart coherence and why it is life changing to do so. This author seems to be not only knowledgeable in this field, but truly altruistic in his attempts to get this information out to the people who need it most.

Good Advice
Good Advice. Easy to read. Somewhat duplicates the publisher's book on reducing hypertension. I can buy into some of the practical exercise but have trouble visualizing breathing through my heart. But I try. I do feel relaxed.

Happy to Have Discovered HeartMath
This book has been so helpful in teaching me how to effectively deal with stress, particularly worry and anxiety. It's well written and filled with all of the scientific studies that illustrate just how powerful a coherent heart rhythm is. Best of all, the four Heartmath techniques described are so easy to implement. I highly recommend this book to anyone suffering the impacts of living a stressful life.

breathe!!
Its a good book. The content is a little repetitive but perhaps that's so it can stick. I like the stats that it gave, although I'm sure the stats are a lot different now. Overall, anyone that is open to changing their ways should try this out. For the price, its awesome. I've tried the methods and so far, it seems to help. Even if you think "oh its mental".. I rather feel good than continue with negative thoughts and feeling stuck. Good luck! Now I'm reading a lazy mans guide to enlightenment.
