Didn’t expect too much - Got a lot
I read a few reviews before putting this on my wish list a few months ago. Finally bought it. Part of the attraction is that it came in a pouch, so all the bits could be safe in one place in the toolkit. This is well made. The plastic handle is too heavy and substantial to be just plastic, it must have a metal core. I have a few hand saws like this SabreCut, two of which use hacksaw blades. However, they are not great as the hacksaw blade often bends and snaps. This handle is ideal as it takes a stronger blade, and it comes with 4. Also the adjustable handle makes it easier and more comfortable to saw. The screwdriver adaption is also handy, along with a selection of bits stored in the handle. The tool is well made, should last a long time, making an ideal addition to my tools.

The best of the sawzall handles
There are a few of these around, and I wasn't going to buy another since I had several. But: the Bosch version is very weak and plasticky, and the Stanley and Milwaukee variants (both good) only take blades, although the Milwaukee version is very handy since it folds. This one from Sabrecut has three, arguably for points of excellence. First is the dual use - it takes Sawzall/Sabre blades with ease, AND takes standard 1/4" driver bits in the same double-purpose slot; this is a huge convenience if you need to carry tools around. (It even takes longer bits directly in the handle, without needing the extender.)Second, the handle tilts to provide more leverage - I haven't seen this in other versions, and useful for both close-in sawing and heavy driving.Third, it's genuinely well made. Nice and heavy in the hand, and the tightening ring is metal, not ABS. Should last a long time. And fourth, you can't beat the price. Less than £20 for a VERY useful multipurpose tool that'll take standard jigsaw blades AND standard hex bits? I'll take that.Overall, this is going to replace my cheaper/plasticky ones - it's definitely the best and most versatile of the bunch.

Well made and useful tool
The handle is comfortable and the blade lock mechanism works well, comes with a selection of blades that all perform well.

Good value
On arrival, very sturdy product. More uses than I first thought and comes with a belt case. Will be a handy addition to any toolbox.

Excellent value for money and well made.
Good piece of kit in a handy wallet, good for when you can't take a tool bag up ladders with you. The handle is well made as are the blades and screwdriverbits. I can't say how long it will last as I haven't had it very long, everything I say on here is on first impressions. I can say that I'm a tradesman and have been for a long time and I know the difference between cheap rubbish and bargain well made tools.

It’ll come in handy I’m sure of that.

A very versatile screwdriver/saw combo
The screwdriver handle feels very solid, it easily flicks to an angle to provide a better grip for sawing or when you need more turning force. I like the built in storage for the screwdriver bits at the end of the handle and the provided saw blades. The saw blades are standard fit reciprocating ones that you can pick up anywhere. The provided soft storage case is nice enough, although I can see why some people complain about the case materials.I can't decide whether I should put this tool in my toolbox, or in the car/house for emergencies, I guess that's the problem when it is too versatile and I can see why other reviewers just buy more of them.My only worry is that the locking mechanism might work loose after repeated use, but hopefully the build quality seems reputable. Also, the yellow Sabrecut dome stickers that cover the handle's rotating hinge screws keep wanting to pop out near the top where it covers the hinge screw as it isn't 100% flush, they should've cut the recess slightly deeper. Nothing a bit of glue, or a firm push down won't fix and it doesn't affect the usability of a really nice set.Overall, I am happy with the screwdriver set and hope to buy more sabrecut tools in the future.
