Q: What do you do for sheets or diaper leaks that still leave it breathable?

This product is the mattress cover/sheet. The mattress is sold separately but does come with a cover. You don’t need an additional sheet. It is completely porous which means any nighttime accident (we have had several episodes of vomiting) go completely through the mattress. I know bc I find it under the crib as it just goes right in through. The good news is hat both the mattress cover and the mattress are completely washable. You just throw the cover in the washing machine and the mattress in the shower.

Q: can this handle a blowout?

Yes. You just unzip and toss the cover in the washer. You can hose off the inside or spray off in the shower, if needed.

In order to gain the open weave technology of the cover, and have a material that allows for a three-dimensional airflow cover, the material is made of polyester. Our factories are Oeko Tex certified, and the product, including the cover, has passed all Greenguard standards for safety and emissions testing, coming away with the highest award of Gold standard, demonstrating that our product actually helps to promote a cleaner indoor air quality! Meaning it is completely safe in your home for your little one.

Q: Is it worth is to get an extra cover?

We found an extra cover useful because when you do wash one it must air dry. Although they do dry very quickly .

Totally breathable

Breathable and firm. Baby sleeps soundly and I don’t have to worry about him smushing his face into it. Baby sweats on any other material but doesn’t on this.
