Faster than downloading straight from camera
Got this to use with both CF Express Type A and v90 SD cards with my Sony A1. Seems to be a bit bulkier than the Sony reader, but much cheaper.Still, it slips easily into a camera bag. I'm not sure why the CFE slot is hidden behind a rubber door while the SD slot is exposed on the side, but it doesn't make much odds, and it does mean you can load one of each type of card into it simultaneously.A bit faster than downloading straight from the camera via USB-C. I tested with 156 compressed raw images on the A1 (on the CFE type A card), to download to my 2019 MacBook Pro in Lightroom (onto an external USB 3.2 SSD). The camera connection did it in 26 seconds, and this reader did it on 21. 1046 photos took 2:49 via the camera and 2:26 via the reader.

Very handy and great performance.
Nice to have this 2 in 1 reader. The performance/transfer speed is great, especially if you have a good USB 3.2 port/specs on your computer.

Affordable and Compact
It’s hard to find a CF Express A card reader and this works like a charm. The Sony brand is twice as much which does the exact same thing. Very satisfied.
