Great for when you are in a hurry!
I routinely have Carnation Instant Breakfast every Sunday morning. Sunday mornings are quite often rushed, so I drink this for breakfast and it last me until I can have some lunch. Typically from 7:15 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. I drink the Chocolate flavor and it is delicious.

Good Value for Cost
There are many options to purchase what was originally called "Instant Breakfast" and is now called "Breakfast Essentials." While I don't know that they are essential, I do know that it provides a very quick way to get past breakfast for those who would rather sleep. This option seems to be the best price per ounce option of the many offered.

As name implies - breakfast in a glass (I cheat though - whole milk - tastes great. Great to have a steady source (bought my first box at a big box but they stopped carrying them).
