It comes with a lead and I plugged it straight into my phone charger plug

I think any usb port will do. Especially a modern phone charger. The lead also is quite standard.

A neck pillow would cover the blow holes of the fan making it pointless. I think if you balance the fan on top of the pillow this may work but it would be blowing in your eyes and not getting around your neck
