It's beautiful and sturdy! Came with free hammock but we used the one we already have. Free one is nice and big, still be used in outdoor patio.

You will need a little bit of help to hold things in place while you assemble, overall it was very easy to put together. My son's friend who is 6' and close to 300 lbs regularly sits in our hammock swings, so very sturdy. We have swung in our hammock chairs and have not had any problems with tipping, with that being said we don't exactly swing with the amount of gusto it would take to reach max swing height. The only thing to take into consideration before purchasing is the way the legs are designed, they could pose a tripping hazard if there is not enough space to maneuver around them.

I love the way this looks. It is well made and, I think, beautiful. However, as everyone else has said, there is no way to put a hammock on this thing in the "normal" way without sitting on the ground when you sit in the hammock. Even the one they sent with the stand (yes, it says there is NO hammock with the stand but they sent me one too), has you sitting on the ground when you hook it to the provided eyes with the provided hooks. It is simply too short to keep you off the ground.However, if you wrap the lines 9 or 10 times on each side (see the pictures), it shortens the lines and still gives you the strength (actually more strength if I remember the rule about twisted or braided lines) you need and shortens the overall length of the hammock so that you can sit on it without touching the bottom. It works for me and so I'm keeping it.

I’ve had this hammock stand for a couple years. There is some splintering but it has held up quite well. I have kept it in open sun year round resting on pavers to avoid direct soil contact. Assembly is a slight pain but within expectations.

I am very disappointed in this product. We currently have one very similar to this one that we purchased 4 years ago. I wanted an additional one so my wife and I could lay out beside each other so I went on Amazon and was not able to find the exact same brand, however this product looks very similar. We I received it I was out of town for work and than we went on vacation. Unfortunately, by the time I got around to opening it up seeing the poor quality of the product I had missed my return date. This product is very poorly made and was missing hardware. After going online and finding out that I was "STUCK" with this item, I went ahead and built it. I quickly realized that the dimensions that the website stated were incorrect. It is much smaller than they say and a regular hammock (Hatteras Hammock) wouldn't even work. The stand is so small that there is no way a hammock will fit!!!!! I know that it is my own fault for taking so long to open the box, but I was truly hoping that the company would return it anyways. I have since disassembled and boxed it back up. Hopefully the company will see this review and grant me a return................

The media could not be loaded. It threw me on the grou d. Frame great but hard to get together. Hammock worthless buying a new one to go on this beautiful frame. Cost was worth the frame.

What a beautiful piece, but be careful when you buy because I bought the smaller one and the hammocks were too big for it. I figured out how to make the hammock smaller, measure the hammock before you buy or buy the bigger stand, but is is beautiful and very comfortable, it looks amazing, everyone who visits my apartment are amazed at this beautiful piece. Thank you so much, I will take many wonderful naps in it.

This is an amazing and beautiful swing stand that is staying indoors so that I’ll be able to enjoy for many years to come. $99 was a bargain especially compared to a metal stand.
