Great design. So small and light but provides great coverage and allows all the beautiful ocean breeze to keep us cool. So compact and easy to set up. We keep this on our boat and it takes up no room, even fits in my beach bag. Purchased the XL size and 6 adults fit well covered.

The Shibumi Shade is worth every penny. It is light to carry, easy to set up, and covers a good amount of surface area on the sand. It definitely takes the cake on any beach day, even with the lightest wind. Bright color quality, too!

Absolutely love this shade. Easy setup. Simply works while other people are chasing their gear down the beach.

GREAT ADDITION FOR THE BEACH

Very expensive…but it is seems to be well made and sturdy. It’s suitcase packable, light to carry, sets up quickly and easily…and it works as advertised. It made a little flapping noise, but not bad. Gives generous amount of shade for four people. Other beach goers in Brazil were complimentary (~envious?).

This thing works great. Have used it for several beach trips now. Setup is super easy. We found that twisting the fabric gently as you stuff it back in the bag makes putting it away easier. It flies well even when we were concerned there wouldn't be enough wind for it to work. I don't live at the beach, but I do go several times a year. I'm not sure where these people are going that say there wasn't enough wind to make it fly. You do have to turn it to face the wind, even if that means it's not facing toward the water.

This is the second beach cover we've purchased. I loved it. My daughter and I was able to set this up and take it down without any trouble! The only problem was it relies on the wind. We had one beach morning where there was no wind so it didn't function properly (no wind?? On the beach??)Other than that weird experience, I'd say it's definitely worth the money for avid beachgoers and I'm glad we bit the bullet and purchased this!

We bought this last year after our annual trip to the Outer Banks of North Carolina after our standard beach umbrella bit the dust. We got to use it for the first time a few days ago, and have used it three days since then.It i a really remarkable shade. It is very easy to set up (fill the sand bag, assemble the poles, thread the poles, figure out which way the wind is blowing, and stick each end of the pole in the sand.) Very easy - takes 5 minutes.Having enough wind is key - not a problem generally in the Outer Banks which is of course why the Wright Brothers picked it. We were surprised how well it worked in light winds. If you have a dead calm that is a problem but otherwise it works fine.
