this is such a cute mold. I don’t use it for soap. I use it with resin. Because it is a soap, mold the resin cures with a mat finish. I simply do a flood coat, paint it with a small paintbrush or use an a, or use an a and it has shine. I’ve painted it with Micah powder numerous times, and it always comes out great. It is easy to clean easy to demold. I almost didn’t buy it because I saw a review talking about how it was torn up but it’s not. That’s just part of the mold you’ll see once you have your finished product. The lines are smooth and seamless. Happy creating.

The level of detail in this mold is incredible! I'm blown away. It has thick silicone sides. It's almost sticky and attracts any dirt near it, but it was very easy to clean with a damp paper towel. It was very easy to pop the soap out of the mold even with all the intricate detail. I thought the price was a bit high since it was only the 2 molds, but it is very good quality. It is a sturdy mold. I would definitely recommend and am happy with my purchase.

I colored one with mica powder in the mold that followed the lines and I made the other with a wash of "ocean" colors flowing across the soap. Both are wonderful. Part of my Mermaid soap collection. Great size - lasts a longtime. Thanks again for some beautiful soaps

This is a highly detailed mold with a lot of little crevices to get the soap down into. If using multi colors with your soap, you will need to work quickly and efficiently. Mistakes will be noticeable. LolOther than this is a great mold and you get 2 for the price of one, so it's a great value. My multi colored one looked pretty awful haha so here is one with just 2 colors.

I wanted to try it as a chocolate mold first before I use it to make soap, and it worked good for both . It is sturdy and good detailed and good large size for the soap. The only downside is it is expensive I wish it was a little cheaper so I can buy some of it .
