My 4-year-old great-grandson loved it. He liked the moving wings. The "sayings" are good, too.

Let's face it, most toys out there today are made to the lowest quality imaginable. They aren't sturdy. Often parts don't fit together right, or pieces are missing. This has proven to be the exception to the rule. When I first opened it, I thought, "Oh this will last about 2 days. My kid will be too rough with it and the wings will break right off. That was almost a year ago (last Christmas). Since then, it's endured many hours of neglect and survived a 1500 mile move across the country. It reminds me of the toys I owned as a kid: indestructible. Okay, maybe it's not indestructible, but it's made better than most toys today. I'd recommend - especially for the price.

I thought item was missing parts and actually going them. Everything is great. I guess I'm biting 2 now bc no need to return.

Grandson loved this. Well made and the sounds Batman makes are loud and well heard.

My 3.5 yr old son loves this toy. He had been doing little chores around the house to earn a "flapping Batman" toy. I didn't know what a flapping Batman might be, but this certainly satisfied him!There are a few small things I have been a little unhappy with though:First, it is very loud! He loves it, I'm used to chaos so I don't mind, but when his younger brother is sleeping it has been a problem.Second, when the toy was brand new the mechanism that keeps the wings up or down was too stiff for him to lock it into place by himself and he was very frustrated by it. Now, after about 2 or 3 weeks, it is so loose that any movement can make the wings fall down.Third, the batteries are already dead. That solves number 1 temporarily but I plan to replace them soon. They take 3 x LR44 batteries, which can be hard to find. I prefer to get them in larger packs on Amazon.

This is a great toy for batman fans, of any age. Lights and sound are great.
