Excellent quality just what I asked for

Quite crude but great for modification
Needs lots of work to be usable, but for someone who likes to shape their handles its great for the price

Wish I’d read the reviews. Taken in by the misleading photos which show high quality hickory handles and didn’t read description or reviews in detail.Very roughly sawn then rounded over on router table. Uncomfortable to hold. Handle is warped. Slot for wedge off centre. Beech is a poor choice of wood.

Get what you pay for ...
Product was competitively priced and easy to shape/fit; purchased medal wedges to secure head in place. All went well for 3 months of periodic use but then the wooden handle snapped at the neck (arguably the weakest point) ... maybe restrict to light use i.e. not fitted to heavier axe head nor used for the more challenging jobs ... off to look elsewhere for a replacement ...
