I'm using this to patch a hole in a gas fireplace burner. It's directly in the hottest part of the flame, glowing red hot 24/7, and seems to be holding up well.Easily joined with a spot welder.

I bought this to repair a broken restaurant heat sealer. It was a bit of a shot in the dark, it’s impossible to know what thickness you need without a good micrometer. I guessed, and got lucky, I’m only one thickness off from the original, I think. The device is repaired, and I didn’t destroy the transformer powering the tape. This is by no means a failure on the seller or listing. It’s just my lack of specialized tools that I’ve never needed before.Product is as listed, and works just fine. I’m going to order the size I think I needed, based on the feeling of the old tape and the new. Just as insurance against blowing that transformer.

I haven't used it yet so I can not report how it works.

I ordered this hoping that the resistance would come in at around 1.02 ohms per meter, as claimed by one of the reviewers. I measured more like 0.61 ohms per meter. I'm confident the measurement is accurate. Supplied a voltage at both ends of the strip & measured the resulting current. Ohms law dictated the resistance.
