Great for mechanisms that stay outside.
Very effective but only for items that are kept outside. When indoors, this lubricant emits a strong odor that smells toxic. I don’t want those fumes in the house. Very good product.

Excellent formula
This is absolutely the best thing I've used on my guitar where the strings go through the nut. Any guitar player will know what I mean. It dries quickly and it's a fantastic lubricant.

Better than ANY oil for most precision mechanisms.
This is the lubricant for precision parts where dirt and other contaminants can cause problems. I use it on all types of mechanisms, especially musical instruments like pedal steel guitars. They have complicated mechanics where oil is a problem - not a solution. Oils act like "dirt magnets" and attract dust, grime, hair etc. - and oils break down over a short period of time (more oil makes things worse!). This "gumming" creates friction requiring parts to be flushed with solvent. Tri-Flow *dry* Teflon™ lube ( Dupont has the trademark) doesn't attract dirt, doesn't break down and only requires application (in most cases) every few months or so. I do quite bit of mechanical work and oils are relegated to vehicle engines, some other heavy machinery - and garage door springs. I use primarily the Tri-Flow brand - sometimes other PTFE (Teflon™ - Dupont has a trademark on that word) dry lubes. Every gadget, hinge etc gets Tri-Flow (or another Teflon™) dry lube. Great stuff!

Great Lubrication but its Hard to Clean
I like this dry lube, but probably used too much when I started with it. It definitely provided the lubrication I needed, but with the chain dirtied up, it was hard to clean the chain completely. A bike repair shop I frequent told me not to use it for chains. I don't know. It does work very well. I ride mostly on prepared surfaces. Road bike. My chains do get quite dirty quickly though. I purchased a different brand to compare how quickly that one gets dirty. We'll see...

Triflow Dry Chain Lube
This is a good quality chain lube in my opinion. I've been a long time fan of other Triflow products and this one works great too. I do live in the California area, so we have a relatively mild climate here, and the chain lube goes on wet, but dries and the chain seems to stay well lubed. Some folks have mentioned if it is too cold, it won't go on very well on the chain, and won't penetrate the links. I did not see that as an issue with me. So just keep that in mind, on the type of lubricate that you may want to use for your chain. For me, I see this as a plus, because it doesn't attract as much dirt as a wet lube.

My bike rides smooth and fast...
First experience with this little bottle of Tri-Flo Dry Lube on my bike. The quality of the lube was warmth and non thickness which it was the perfect ratio for my chain on my E-bike. It totally lube the chain without any drops or mess. I recommend slowly spinning the chain while applying the application without any rush. Take your time while lubericating the bike chain the results are amazing. My bike rides smooth without any hesitation on the gears. Give a try you won't be disappointed with this Tri Flo Lube. Enjoy your ride and be safe...

No mess, easy to use.
Bottle makes application neat and simple. Researched and found excellent reviews. Small. Little will last . Long time. Got 2 different types, 1 for my chain, 1 for the gear&brake cables. I recommend this brand of lubricant.

Tri-Flow is slick lubricant
I use this to refill my Tri-Flow pen oiler. I bought the TripFlow to repair the Variable Frequency Oscillator on my Ten Tec ham radio transceiver. The VFO/PTO is manufactured with grease in the ball bearings. The grease hardens over time making it impossible to tune the transceiver. A little denatured alcohol will dissolve the hardened grease and then a few drops of Tri-Flow will make the VFO/PTO operate perfectly. Tri-Flow is made with premium oils and compounded with teflon. This is good stuff. I highly recommend it.
