Effective replacement for peeling paint on dress shoes
I was in need of a product to replace the cracked and peeling paint on my black wing-tip dress shoes. After brushing off the old paint, I applied the product. It matched the color (black) and shine of my dress shoes. I have only worn the shoes once for a wedding but the there has been no cracking or peeling of the new paint. Instructions on the product recommend that you not use the shoes for at least 24 hours to give the paint time to cure. I allowed several days before wearing the shoes. One coat of the product does not match the quality of the original paint, but applying multiple thin coats, as recommended, could help. This product does give old shoes some new life.

Small bottle
Used it on this purse that was silver seems to have good coverage. Great quality model was smaller than I had thought but it goes a long way.

Works great to restore steering wheel
With 14 years of sun beating on it, the top edge of the steering wheel on my Honda Pilot started to harden and flake off. Very unsightly and annoying to feel when driving. I sanded off the hardened foam with 400 grit sandpaper and smoothed it all out. Then I used this Angelus black leather paint to restore the color of the steering wheel. I just dabbed it on with a little piece of foam. I added a leather finisher from the same manufacturer to seal it. It looks absolutely brand new and took less than 30 minutes. Much better than a bulky gaudy steering wheel cover. The car is in great shape with only about 130K miles on it. It's not unusual to get well over 200K miles so little fixes like this keep it looking good. The product is meant for leather goods...maybe I'll try it on my shoes! I have more of those than steering wheels.

Best in paints
Angelus paints were developed for sneakers. They also sell to soft for places like tongues of sneakers. Also too hard for mid soles which are hard. Best and only brand for painting and giving sneakers that new look. Amazon is cheapest place to buy. Durable and doesn’t peel.

Transformation and triumph
There I was, staring at my tired, old black shoes, feeling like they were about as exciting as watching paint dry. But then, like a beacon of hope in a sea of blandness, I discovered this little bottle of wonder.First off, let's talk about the paint itself. It's smoother than a silk scarf on a summer breeze, gliding onto those shoes with the grace of a ballerina and the precision! I felt like I was conducting a symphony of style, with each stroke of the brush adding a new layer of sophistication.Suddenly, my shoes went from "meh" to "heck yes!" in the blink of an eye.I'm about as handy with a paintbrush as a penguin is with tap dancing. I've been known to make a mess of even the simplest DIY projects. But fear not, my friends, because this paint is like training wheels for your creativity. Even if you're as clumsy as a bull in a china shop, you'll still come out looking like a crafting genius. So if you've got a pair of shoes that need a little TLC, do yourself a favor and grab a bottle of Angelus Acrylic Leather Paint in Black. It's the secret weapon in your style arsenal, the key to unlocking a world of shoe-painting shenanigans. Trust me, your feet will thank you for the upgrade.

Just a little bit
This paint is so smooth. A little bit goes a long way. I mixed a bit of Angelus Dull to the paint, so there would be no shine to the end result. Again, a little bit goes a long way. I had to view the help video on the Angelus website for a lesson. Don't forget the Acrylic Finisher, I used the Matte version. Their website has a swatch of all the colors they offer. Will purchase again. Good luck on your project.
