Avery Two Pocket Folders, Holds up to 40 Sheets, Business Card Slot, Case Pack of 125 Black Folders (47988)

This is the third time I ordered these folders, which I use in my business to give documents to clients. I ordered the same folders on Feb 25, 2016 and on Aug 24, 2016. My March 25, 2017 order arrived and it appears that the folders have substantially changed. They are less textured, the black is less rich, and they are flimsier. They look kind of cheap.In my photo: the old ones are in the right and the new ones are on the left.

I bought these for work when we ran out of our printed folders. These work just fine and look professional. I also like the fact they have a holder for business cards. We may not go back to printed folders after using these.

It's like getting a ream of printer paper, except less useful.At the price I got ($5) it was a better deal than ordering a single folder. Having multiple has come in handy when it happens to rain every day. These folders are made of kind of think paper (like every other paper folder in stores) so they can resist some bending, but rain drops will cause the color to fade.I don't ever see myself using all forty, though, so if getting a few from a store for 50 cents each is not up your alley consider becoming the Robin Hood of professionally-black resume-holders.

I prepare tax returns and slap a label on these and stick my business card inside and use these for my client's copies. I opened these up and started inserting my business cards and the slots aren't cut well and that resulted in me tearing the folder just to get my card in. I've improvised and now I'm just sticking two corners in the slots that are cut well and hoping that my card won't fall out. Last year I used a generic brand and didn't have this problem. Looks like I'll be going back to using those.

My office tried to be frugal and purchased alot of folders for a small price. The folder condition was fine however, the area where you insert your business card was oversized and so I would have had to glue or tape the card into place which would have defeated the purpose of clients removing the card. As I told my EA, don't waste time,Avery doesn't disappoint.

They have changed these folders, and they are completely unacceptable. You can see my review below, we have used these folders FOR YEARS, but no longer. 1) The texture is barely perceptible, and the slight sheen on the originals is nowhere to be found: they are now dull and almost chalky, like cheap construction paper. 2) They are actually 1/8" shorter than the originals, and it makes them look almost square instead of rectangular. Really sucks to think you can rely on the quality of something you've used for years, and they change it to something unrecognizable. REALLY DISAPPOINTING. They will be sent back as defective.Previous review: These look very nice, and I use them to hold marketing materials, and they are easily embellished with our logo labels since the fronts are plain (aside from the slight texture). The only reason I didn't give a five-star rating is that the glue on the center pocket impedes sliding papers in easily, and has to be dislodged somewhat carefully with a letter opener to facilitate this. It's not difficult, but it is a small factor.

Was very surprised when I received this product..... the corners are not put together on the ends.... It seems a manufacturing issue? It doesn't hurt their function but I bought them for client meetings... and will not be using them for that as they look cheap IE unprofessional.

I use these when I interview for a job. I place my resume, cover letter, and all other relavent materials in the folder. I've received several compliments on the black folder, they look great and they are not expensive in the least. Good to have around the house as well to stay organized.
