Just did another oil change and decided to change my air filter as well.Saw this filter and was kinda reluctant because of the price but i figured my car isnt getting any younger so why not soring a little extra for the best.Looks like the filter has a oil on it not to sure how that works but i changed everything and got in the car for a test drive and she did start strong and drive well so im kinda impressed.I see they sell the filter oil amd cleaner so i will prolly pick grab some in a few months.kinda neat that its reusable

What can I say it is a K&N Product. This is my first K&N Filter or anything from this manufacturer. I read up on the benefits of K&N and how you do not need to replace this filter just clean it and it is good for a life time. As for added horsepower I cant really tell since I drive a Dodge Challenger SRT8 yet I have noticed added fuel economy. My car used too average 17.6 MPG on the highway and now it is around 20.4 MPG on the highway.The price was also reasonable since a regulator air filter is around $18 and only good for 12,000 miles.Overall very happy with the filter, I only wish that I could get the cold air intake instead yet my warranty will not allow it.Now I did have some difficulty closing the air box but I attribute it to the air box design not the K&N Air Filter.Thank You... The filter fit very snug which I prefer to keep other particles out from formulating on the outer portion of the filter. I can notice a slightly better acceleration on take offs but for sure more smoothly, seems to be the same afterwards. I am saving 26 cents to the gallon on my 2006 Dodge Charger 3.5. The fact that I get to reuse it is the biggest beneficial factor for me being that I can clean it often without the extra cost.

Just get the K&N Air Filter Care Service Kit and follow the steps on how to properly clean and prep your filter for reuse. It's far more expensive than the standard air filters, but you are paying for K&N quality and if you clean it properly and reuse it...it pays for itself. If you love your car and want better performance but can't afford heavy mods, start here.

Can’t beat a K&N. You just can’t. For such a small and easy replacement, you get a little boost and the ability to clean out your filters instead of just throwing them out
