Easy to use and replace.
I was bummed that my Blackwing one step blade even needed to be replaced. It was breaking all my leads for months before I figured it out that the blade was just dull. Replacement blades are good.

Completely Transformed My Blackwing
I received a Blackwing One Step Sharpener as a gift about a year ago, and wanted to love it, but it never sharpened well. It's got beautiful build quality, much more substantial than a cheap plastic sharpener, and holds lots of shavings, so it's ideal for carrying with you. Unfortunately, it chronically broke off tips and never gave me a really good point. Finally, I ordered these replacement blades, although I was wary of spending more money on something that didn't work well. It transformed my sharpener, which works flawlessly now. If you're having trouble with yours, I highly recommend buying these. My only complaint is that they should have included extra blades with the sharpener. By the time you spend $21 on the sharpener, and $9 on spare blades, you've got $30 in a single-stage pencil sharpener. And I can't ignore the fact that for $2 more, instead of spare blades, you can get a KUM Automatic two-stage sharpener. It's not nearly the same build quality, nor is it the kind of tool you fall in love with, and it wouldn't make much of a gift, but it's really a better sharpening tool. And it includes extra blades.
