Q: Will this work on a bed without the spray in bed liner?

Yes it will work with or without a bed liner. On either surface you just have to make sure that is cleaned properly for the adhesive to stick to the surface.

Q: How many of these do i need to put in a cut to fit ? Came with none. It's a 5 foot bed

I have 6-1/2 foot bed. Mine came with; 63 1"x2" for side panels--bottom of tailgate and front panel. 2pcs 1"x36" for floor 1pc 1"x63.5" for front panel 1pc 1"x60" for top of tailgate

They are not full kits to attach bedrug. The kit is just extra to attach bedrug in more places. Doesn't have the long strips to attach bedrug.
