Ultra Cable Tennis String - 1.23mm / 17G - White - 12m

If you have a slow swing speed, such as USTR 3.5 or below, this is a good string for you. At those lower string speeds, the "bite" of a sharp-edged string makes a difference (it doesn't make a difference at high speeds / higher player ratings). This string is relatively soft, so if you need soft due to imperfect form or arm issues, it will feel good. If you are a 4.5 or above, though, you'll probably shred this string too quickly to be useful, you'll hate stringing with it (hard on the fingers), and you'll stretch it out too quickly -- it does not have good tension maintenance if you hit hard. So, it's a very interesting string for lower to middle level club players (and that's great! there are lots more of those folks than there are experts!), but there's a reason you don't see any top high school players or college players using it.
