Perfect
I had to remount the bow pulpit on my sailboat. I used a plate above and below deck and bolted the base into position. The plated worked perfectly.

Inaccurate Dimensions
It is as described except that it measures 5-13/16 inches square, not 6 inches square. That wasn't critical for my project, but I wanted to advise others who may require precisely 6x6. This isn't that.

dfinately not 1/8" is 1/4" all day long
the aluminum was fine the dimensions ship as far as thickness was off but will use it in another application
