Everything works as advertised. My unit did come with a working battery. I replaced it with a new one all the same to see if it would display with the battery and it doesn't. It's just a CMOS battery, like in a computer. Which is fine! I just wasn't expecting only that functionality.The one issue I have with it is the AC power barrel cord doesn't work in every position, you need to play with it to work properly. Which is fine. Just get it to work and then put it on the wall. Won't be an issue till it needs to come back down.

I bought this clock for my shop after my old school analog clock bit the biscuit , works perfectly and is easy to use and I can read it all the way from the other side of my shop ... Would buy again for sure .

It’s a nice product except the auto-dimmer at its lowest level is still bright enough to keep you from being able to sleep. I wish it would turn off or go to a lower setting at specific times of day, but that’s not a feature on this product. I ended up returning mine and got something different.

No eye straining. Numbers are quite large. Dims very slightly at night, we love it..
