Must-Have Powerstrip
I recently ordered this oversized metal power strip to replace the many power strips I have in my musical studio. This product is great! It has 16 3-prong ports for power and a 12’ ft. long cord. The frame is metal, which increases it’s durability and it even has brackets for mounting if desired. If you’re anything like me and dislike having multiple cords running to multiple outlets, purchasing this product is the way to go!

If you are looking for a decently priced, UL listed solution, this is it
Amazon is filled with cheap power strip solutions. Many of them look promising and have many reviews that claim to back up their quality and reliability. For me, the sticking point for all of them was the lack of being UL listed for certification and safety. Living in an apartment with limited access to wall outlets and a carpet floor, it was a risk I didn't want to take. This device handles my computer, entertainment center and consoles like a champ and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a lot of outlets in a safe and trusted product.

A Work From Home Necessity
I have my home office set up so that my desk faces the interior of the room. That gave me two problems: running cords to wall outlets and objects falling off the far edge of the desk. We installed the brackets it comes with along that far edge then slid the power strip into place. I now have more than enough outlets for the laptop, extra monitor, lamp, phone xharger, etc... and my pens don't fall off. The outlets are side-by-side down the strip so bulky electronic cords no longer cause me to use multiple extension cords. The big, bulky, plugs used to require half of a power strip because they needed the end spot for the cord to hang and the bulk ate up 3 outlets above it. It still takes up 3 outlets due to its girth but with so many outlets, I still have enough empty sochets to use. The cord for the strip is long enough to reach from my desk to the wall outlet without an extension cord. It has eli.inated so many practical and safety issues that I didn't even realize I had. It's a WFH necessity for me

Got a Lemon, but the Replacement Works Fine
The media could not be loaded. I was looking forward to eliminating the octopus that started to grow out of my garage's lone outlet. However, after I mounted this strip things went wrong immediately. Power would cut in and out with little rhyme or reason. I finally tracked it down to some break in the connection near the plug end of the strip. If this does not work straight out of the box, I doubt it would last long at an actual work site. Apparently "heavy duty" does not equal quality.Update: I sent the item back and received a replacement. This one was perfect and works just as expected. So I'll just chock this up to an anomaly. Don't be too wary, this is a good product.

Attached to wooden desk
I have this attached to the back of my wooden desk - I share my office and our two desks sit back to back , in the center of the room. This allowed me to get all of the cords for two computer set ups reduced down to one cord connected to the wall. All of the other cords for our setups (2 laptops, 2 lamps, 1 docking station, 3 monitors) are plugged into this, and i also have a small power strip plugged into it that sits on my desk for my phone chargers. It made a world of difference as far as organization and neatness. It came with all of the hardware that it needed to mount directly to my desk. My only compliant would be that the mounting bracket was difficult to slide into place, and i actually ended up having to use a hammer to get it where it needed to be. Overall, good experience, would buy again!.

Just what I needed
I ended up getting a pair of these to re-organize my home theater power wiring. The form factor & included mounting brackets allowed me to screw the power strips to the back of the cabinet and lock down the multitude of power cords. Now I just have two long cords to connect to the wall instead of a mass of cords going to overloaded loose power strips. The aluminum case is good quality and plenty tough for the purpose. The plugs are a snug fit, and I count that as a feature so the cords don't come loose easily. The mount brackets are simple and work well.
