Value for money
Arrived very quick! Fairly easy to set up. Contrary to some other reviews I found it very sturdy with no dropping down of the board (at the moment anyway-only did a quick test) Instructions are a bit 'Icky' - I personally, 1) slightly loosened the 3 sprung bolts first, then 2) tightened the centre swivel mount Allen bolt using Key & Spanner as much as I could 3) screwed to board 4) mounted to stand & adjusted to height etc. then finally 5) tightened the 3 sprung bolts. I think if its set up correctly then its fine. As for 'Wobble' yes it does (and I think they probably all do - Its the nature of stands) But unless you throw really heavy darts or really fast its not a problem as it 'Settles' by the time you throw the next dart. (I think its a small price to pay for the convenience of a stand.)I really think this is a good value stand for the price paid (the Winmau I was going to get was twice the price) and I took a chance on this one. As I said previously if set up correctly it works fine. (Wobble & all) Will edit this review if I'm proved wrong as time goes on. Hope this helps some-one.

Very good.
After receiving a new dart board as a present, and wanting it to be easily moved about, I went about searching for ideas! I didn't know these things even existed.I had a choice, do I buy a cheaper one (like this) or the expensive Winmau stand. I choose this one as it came with a carry case! I am so glad I did choose this one. There are a few negative reviews regarding the ball joint which attachs to the board, it does make you wonder why they designed it like this, but after tightening the middle bolt, then the three bolts with the springs attached i have no problems. The board doesn't tilt at all.Now if you want something that doesn't move slightly, then don't buy a stand, the tiny shake is inevitable, but I find it very sturdy and perfect for moving about. One more thing, it is very easy to put up and take down, the pin in the top is a great idea. And the carrycase fits perfect.I'm using a Winmau blade5 with a surround on.

Great but not 5 stars due to setup issues
I read a lot of reviews before buying a darts stand and I purchased this one based on a recommendation from a friend. The first thing I will say is that, out the box, this stand needs a lot of setting up ... there is a review on here that posted a link to a Youtube Video from Gorilla Stands themselves that explains a lot about the setup. However, the video does not explain that the backplate ball-joint (the backplate screws onto the dart board itself) has an allen-key fitting to tighten it up *before* you screw it onto the dartboard. After screwing the backplate on (and four screws into the back of a dartboard is hard work), I realised that the board sat way too loose and that was the reason. There's at least a couple of reviews on here that gave low ratings purely because of that issue. The second, and probably most important issue for serious darts players is that the stand does not go to regulation height out the box - it falls at least 3 inches short on the regulation 5 feet 8 inches height. I had a temporary solution where I propped up each of the tripod legs on a couple of bricks but by far the best solution is to buy an extension pole. I went with this one: TELESCOPIC SPEAKER POLE Extendable 35mmØ speaker pole for mounting satellite cabinets above bass bins. Various height settings are locked by securing pin.For a small cost on top of the already good value-for-money stand, the extension pole works a treat to get the proper regulation height. *(NOTE: The image I've attached with this review shows the darts stand with the extension pole fitted)*Only other criticisms are that the rubber 'insert' between the pole and the clamp is pretty flimsy. During my first few adjustments for height, it disintegrated on me and I had to strip out the rubber insert and just pad it out with some leftover package film from a previous Amazon delivery (I'm pretty sure anything with a bit of grip would be fine here). Also, the plastic handle that tightens the clamp to the pole snapped around the same time - luckily, you can unscrew the handle and with a small wrench, you can tighten the clamp just fine. All in all, this a great darts stand for the money, like I say the initial setup is a pain but once setup it holds up well. I get a little wobble during play but that's more due to playing in an upstairs flat with the stand resting on old floorboards. Occasionally, you have to tighten the fittings up as they come loose but I have a Winmau Blade 4 board mounted on this and it's fine (that board is probably one of the heaviest boards around).

Excellent
So simple to setup and take down. Video on YouTube helps if you have any issues. Can now practice at home to try and improve my game. No wobble what’s so ever

Excellent stand
Just arrived today. Easy to set up.as I use multiple boards to practice with. I fixed a piece of wood to the bracket and then attached a bulls rotating bracket to the wood, I can now change my board with ease and also rotate easily as if it was on the wall. It does have slight wobble when in use but this is minor and doesn’t distract me. The ball bracket does seem solid but I can see this will come loose in time if this does occur I will just remove the springs and put washers in to make it a Solid fix. The top locking handle is very poor but I used a spanner to lock it up as i won’t be removing to often not a major issue. Overall a very good buy worth every penny. Don’t be put off by some of the negative reviews. As this is my first portable stand I can’t compare to other stands but for the money excellent
