Clever bit of Kit
The box was over the top, it could of easily came in a large brown bag. Delivered quickly. It's very strong, sturdy plastic. The green plug is large and also sturdy. Fits in the sink. Fills with water and no leaks. The plug is easy to locate, a twist and the comes water disperse quickly. A great design and the plug also catches bits of food which is useful. The elderly relative loves it as it's easy to use. Good for those with dexterity issues and it means no lifting and trying to pour heavy water from a washing up bowl. It also has feet so it's not sitting low in the sink which means less bending over the sink. A definite recommendation

Fantastic washing up dish...very sturdy
Love this dish for my kitchen sink. Ypu can fit a decent amount in it for washing up and the stop plug/drain plug is genius. Bit of an investment as it doesn't come cheap

Superb quality bowl with excellent drainage feature
So pleased with this washing up bowl; I read numerous reviews pre-purchase and, like other satisfied reviewers, I must sing this innovative bowl's praises! The dimensions perfectly fit my modern shallow SS sink which fits flush to the worktop; by that I mean that the square shape accommodates a good size dinner plate without resting at an angle as with my previous rectangular bowls. Being square it allows space to tip away water/drain vegetable pans into the sink without having to remove the bowl - although I have a 1.5 sink facility it doesn't always suit me to use the .5 part to empty messy pan/teapot residue. It stands taller than the surrounding sink & drainer surface - which suits me, as I now have enough depth of water to reduce the previous problem I had with regular spillages onto the surrounding worktop. The bowl surface is strong and smooth and wipes clean like a dream - I purchased the white with lime green drain. Having a husband who loves cooking curries and pasta but then leaves the pans/dishes in the washing up water for me to eventually deal with (Grrr!) I was constantly facing a greasy 'orange' scum line around bowls. What a joy to be able to quickly open the drain, fasten and refill with clean soapy water and not to have to get out a cream cleaner to clean the bowl. It's not a cheap item to purchase - although I was delighted with Amazon's really competitive price (being £8 cheaper than a well-known high street department store) - but it's well worth paying for the quality and good design of this product.

Great innovative kitchen product. Well conceived and well-made.
This is a well designed product which seems such an obvious idea but I must confess I haven't seen another kitchen bowl with the 'built-in' drainage plug idea. It's also a very sensible size for most kitchen sink operations such as washing up... being 'squarish' in proportions and not too shallow it means that, when washing dinner plates etc., the bowl is large enough to accommodate the items conveniently and cleanly. The bowl has four small 'legs' formed from the plastic construction and these allow a little gap beneath the bowl when it's sitting in the sink. Therefore when you utilise the cleverly designed "bowl-plug" there's sufficient room for draining into the main part of the kitchen sink. I also like the simple twist action which basically opens the bowl's plug seal for draining (you can completely lift out the plug should you require). So far the item has been used for several weeks and it has been easy to keep clean, with no apparent staining of the bowl's surfaces as yet. This was a concern that I had but I am pleased with the performance after many days of usage. Also slightly unusual for a kitchen sink bowl are the two handles — these allow for easy lifting of the bowl, even with wet hands. This small feature should be more commonplace.Overall a very sensible and practical household item which I am very pleased I purchased.

Compact and handy
It’s small touches like handles that can really make a difference to making mundane tasks easier. Not many pool like washing dishes, I don’t but this basin has some simple touches that makes the job easier . The handles mean I can lift the basin around, pretty handy when I have to fill a kettle etc up but the basin is full of dishes . I have a compact kitchen with not a lot of spare room , this basin works well for me. It doesn’t take a lot of dishes, although it’s deep it is compact square size. So I would say only suited to a household of about 2. It takes plate size fine but easily gets full with cups .The drainer at the bottom sometime a hit or miss, which is funny as that’s why I mainly bought it .! As sometimes if it’s not shut properly and I move it , the water leaks out , but it’s handy if you don’t overfill the basin like me !The sturdy design means it’s easy to lift an although I have the cream one it’s easy to keep clean . Just keep on top on cleaning it as the bottom can easily get covered in dregs .Overall very fumctional , looks nice and would recommend if you like nice deigns or need extra space .

Love it!
I have always hated washing up bowls with a passion & never yse one. New house, new kitchen, new sink... This one is different & I love it! Solid & big enough to take my cast iron casserole dish. The handles to lift it & legs to raise it off the sink bottom are great. Let's talk plugs - just brilliant! Yes, it is expensive but I think worth every single penny 😊

Great, new kitchen sink.
I began to get really tired of heavy-handedly knocking plates, cups and bowls into the side of the sink and causing chips, breaks and cracks along the way. I got this 9 litre bowl from Joseph Joseph at 20% off and it's been a really useful product over the last week. Rugged, huge, and the drain is just so handy. It's just like using the sink but without the risk of damaging any of my tableware. I actually prefer this drain over my sink drain as it's much easier to transport to/from the bin. Nice product!
