Disappointing for the price. Is not a high performance design or product.
I’ve been looking for a good flask for a while, and have tried quite a few, but without finding anything which keeps drinks really hot beyond about 5 hours. The several positive reviews and a recent article in the Daily Telegraph persuaded me to try this one too. Unfortunately it is another disappointment. It is slightly better than cheaper flasks in side-by-side tests, but it is not by enough for me to be worth the extra cost. Some clues to the mediocre performance are: you can readily feel the heat escaping from the top of the flask after filling, around the screw-on cup which becomes quite warm; the plastic stopper is just hollow without any serious attempt at proper insulation; and the the plastic-lined metal cup becomes uncomfortably hot to hold when using, which again reveals its poor insulation. Overall, the main body of the flask is well made and doesn’t lose any heat, but this is let down by the poor insulation of the stopper and the cup at the top.
