Such a great find! Very happy with this document holder. It's very sturdy, which is needed for an adjustable sit/stand desk. In order to be so sturdy, you do need to use the (provided) tools to loosen and retighten the joints, but really once you've found a good position, there is little need to make a change. I will note that my original order was defective. I contacted the manufacturer directly and they sent me a new one right away with no trouble at all. Great customer service!

This document holder is really only average - once connected to the desk it is not that stable and there is no clip to hold papers

I love this thing. It's fantastic for switching between needing my phone mounted for hand free calls, my tablet for note taking and second monitor type use, and documents for typing up notes and docs. The doc stand is a little heavy but with the right amount of tidying and as long as its mounted in a solid place it's great. Even letting the doc stand rest on the desk standing tall it's great. The doc stand is just big enough for a spiral notebook. The phone stand works with binky cases on your phone or no case at all. Both phone and tablets can be moved to any position. I'd advise that you use this with a wooden desk that has some weight and thickness to the tabletop. I use it on a glass desk for now and have to use some extra cushion to keep it mounted. They one thing I'll say is if you have a hard time tightening and untightening things, have trouble with your hands or anything, this may be a bit tough to manage. I do end up using the tools to untighten to move it and retighten extremely tight to get it to stay put.

We've had the older version of this which has a heavier more solid document tray. Unfortunately, the weight of that heavier tray proved to be too heavy for the arm to hold up in many positions. The new version I received today in Feb '23 has a much lighter weight tray. It does not feel as high of quality but because it is lighter the arm can hold it at any position. Rather than cheapening the product with the lighter tray, it would have been nice if the manufacturer would have instead improved the quality of the joints, allowing them to hold the weight of the nicer/heavier tray. Overall decent product and should serve us well enough with the lighter tray. I imagine this weight issue may also apply to tablets, but I haven't tried that.

Disappointing Purchase. Description says "Full motion, pull to adjust..." I figured out pretty quick that I couldn't adjust the joints of this product smoothly - like you'd expect - you can set it up in one configuration but don't expect to move it after that. The Metal Document holder is so heavy it won't stay in a position that is convenient for use. I was extremely careful but in under 3 months it's not usable. The screws stripped when tightened. Then finally the extra (unnecessary) screw at the base stripped out and the whole assembly crashed to the floor. There is no way to stabilize / connect the base - rendering the whole assembly useless. I was hoping for a solution to avoid 'Tech-Neck' but this is not the answer.
